Program Objective

The Phlebotomy is responsible for collecting quality blood samples and other laboratory specimens through invasive and non-invasive methods. Phlebotomist work directly with patients. Medical Terminology, an overview of the anatomy and physiology of the human body, the circulatory system, infection control, safety and first aid, blood collection equipment and supplies, specimen collection preparation, venipunicture, blood smear preparation, special blood gases, non blood specimen handling.
